Hello World!

Hi! my name is Farhan Qalbain and this is a website that I created on a whim on a lazy Saturday afternoon just before lunch while I was waiting for my food to be ready. My goal, at least for now, is to create a professional digital portfolio that can be easily navigated by others: friends, families, employers, or potential clients – of course I will be still creating the 'normal' portfolio if needed. I had other plan for the website in the future but that will require more free time and some more learning (in website design and some coding), so I will put that plan aside for now.

Second, I am sorry for the unfinished contents as I am filling it slowly whenever I have some free time. But I will explain the whole idea in brief: in the architecture section, you would find my architectural works (obviously) both my academic projects and professional ones; in photography, pictures that I've taking during my various travels, divided in themes based on how I see the world through my lenses; research will contain my thesis (currently, there is only an interactive map that you can access from this section but nothing else), which is now still ongoing, and other researches that I will do in the future (amen!); and in info, I laid out my curriculum vitae including some additional info if you want to take a look. For now, I am slowly completing every sections, bit by bit, whenever I feel I have the time to do so – but as you can see for now I am quite occupied with something else.

Lastly, I am encouraging you to feel free and explore everything on this site! You can also hit me up anytime you want (I have put my email address in the info section,  just click the button below!) for inquiries or if you feel the need to give me a critique – I strongly expect you to form an opinion on my work, and to an extent, of myself after you take a stroll in this site.
